$3 million in cocaine seized by Border Patrol agents
Over three million dollars worth of cocaine are now off the streets.
Agents with the Laredo sector Border Patrol made the cocaine seizure.
Agents responded to a call on Monday of suspicious activity along the riverbanks near the World Trade Bridge.
When they arrived on the scene the agents saw three men moving through the thick brush.
All three fled as agents moved in, but agents were able to capture and arrest one of the men.
Two bags with a total weight of 98 pounds of cocaine were found while searching the area.
The cocaine and suspect were turned over to the DEA.
