PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Four Providence police officers and 20 other people have been indicted in a wide- ranging drug investigation dubbed Operation Deception.

Three of the officers had been previously arrested. Authorities said a fourth, detective Robert Enright, turned himself in to state police on Wednesday.

Enright was arraigned in Providence Superior Court on charges of harboring a criminal and conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $10,000 personal recognizance.

State Police Supt. Brendan Doherty says the case shows that no one is above the law. He says it concludes a wiretap investigation that began last year.

The three other officers, including a narcotics detective and a former police driver for Providence Mayor David Cicilline (sis-uh-LEE'-nee), were arrested in March.
