Last week, agents patrolling the Rio Grande checked an uninhabited house just north of the river near La Grulla after noticing an open door.
From the doorway three bundles of what appeared to be narcotics were visible.
The agents seized and transported the bundles, consisting of 36 packages, to the Rio Grande City Station where the contents tested positive for marijuana.
The drugs were valued at close to $150,000.
In an unrelated case early this morning, near Rio Grande City, agents seized more than 800 pounds of marijuana worth more than $650,000 after encountering a 1994 Chevrolet Z-71 near the river.
The driver abandoned the vehicle when the agents approached.
The marijuana was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up.
