Port St. Lucie, Fla. (CBS TAMPA) – A South Florida man posted a Facebook selfie with stacks of drug money and marijuana just feet from a sheriff’s squad car – but the social media bragging ultimately led to his own undercover drug arrest.

Taylor Harrison, 21, took a selfie with a Martin County Sheriff’s vehicle, while he is seen holding drugs and a stack of money to show how easy it is selling drugs in front a deputy, according to the sheriff’s office.

Another photo snapped by Harrison, and posted to Facebook, simply shows a sheriff’s vehicle pulled up right next to his own car.

But the selfie bragging backfired on Taylor when he had his own mug shot posted to the sheriff’s office Facebook page after he was arrested for selling drugs to an undercover narcotics detective, WPBF-TV reports. The sheriff’s office was happy to return the favor after seeing Harrison’s own Facebook page and finding images of him dealing drugs right next to their own department’s officers and vehicles.

“Since Taylor was kind of enough to share photos of us on his Facebook page, we thought we would share these photos of Taylor on our page,” the sheriff’s office posted on its Facebook page Friday.

The four photos posted to the “When Selfies Backfire” MCSO Facebook page are described:

“These are photos of 21-year old Taylor Harrison of Port St. Lucie bragging on his Facebook page about his life as a drug dealer and how easy it is for him to sell drugs in front of our deputies.

The first photo Taylor took himself as he pulled alongside one of our deputies. The second photo is a selfie of Taylor with stacks of drug cash and drugs that he says he sells. Notice next to his car, is a patrol car.

The third shot is a MCSO undercover camera capturing Taylor selling drugs to one of us. He tells us, he is the best around!

The photo to the right is Taylor’s booking photo at Martin County Jail after being arrested for…you guessed it, selling drugs to our undercover narcotics detectives,” reads the MCSO page.

Taylor’s bond has been set at $55,500.

what a donkey!. I mean how stupid can you get,the ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me

He should get a portion of the funds saved by not having to investigate the crime, or interview him for a confession.. he may deserve an honorary "officer of the week " for his efforts resulting in his own successful arrest and prosecution. (Not to mention making the Sheriff's department look like an advanced Mensa convention)

Some people........He looks like an arrogant little shit in his pictures too. Well, he got what was coming to him for being too cocky.

Defiately, not the smartest move to make. If we are to learn anything from this it should be never doubt facebook's obsession to self police. The picture was a stupid move, but more so was the choice of medium. If you want tobe arrested, black balled or censored facebook is the perfect choice if not choose a different outlet for your expression. We all make stupid lapses in judgement but we need to be careful how we share those lapses.

What a dumb fuck. First off, it's not that cool to be a dealer, especially when you brag and boast about it. How stupid can you be? Legit dealers DO NOT do dumb fucking shit like this.
I have a friend who used to sell top notch drugs (all were tested, and her coke was 80- 90 percent pure) and you would NEVER guess she sold drugs. Lived in a nice house, extremely OCD so it was perfectly clean all the time, was careful about who was over, and had 3 Large Safes in her closet. She doesn't sell anymore after her main connect got caught by the feds... hence no good coke in Oregon now, at least my area (not that I use it anymore, but I still know whats up, I'm in recovery, ALL my friends are addicts lol)
So yeah, that's ridiculous. I definitely would not want him to be my drug dealer. Sounds like a fucking prick who thinks he's "oh so cool" cause he has drugs.

But he is definitely "oh so retarded" to post and brag about what he does.
Doesn't he know that selling drugs is illegal? cause it doesn't seem like it.

Someone outta punch some sense into him.
WHAT A Dumb fuck. Wow. "its like, hey guys im going to go get some crack and then videotape me buying it and selling it and smoking it and then adding a location and a time where I'm doing it, and then telling EVERYONE I KNOW." and then be like whaaaa ? what'd i do wrong?
    DUMB FUCK.

Taking a pic of a drug and postin it on twitter isn't something that is gonna get you in huge trouble because I posted pics and vids of my weed and tabs just for kicks. I wasn't tryna look cool but I thought I would show a few peeps and I never got in trouble but the way this guy does it is fucking stupid. Guys a dip shit for that.. HAHA
  7. babalooj
Xplicit, i think the main difference is that you aren't posting about dealing drugs. Law enforcement usually cares more about the people who possess large amounts of a drug and/or distributing these drugs, not people just using.
  8. tvedrode
I agree. Posting pics of weed or whatever is definitely different than what this guy did. I used to post pics of weed and my pieces (I also had a medical card) but even before that I'd be wearing my gas mask in tooooooons of pics... but yeah there's definitely a difference between posting pics of some bud or whatever and then there this dude.
Fucking idiot. As I said in my other post, he seems like a complete TOOL. And in my vocabulary a TOOL is the worst thing a man can be. That's about as low as it goes.
Bragging and shit about being a dealer and flashing your money, like he's the coolest thing since fuckin sliced bread? Give me a break. He probably sells shit for drugs, and if he does any process, he probably cuts them drugs sooooo much. cause hes all about him and his $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
    FUCKING DUMBASS
