(AP) Authorities made a drug bust after getting a lead at an unlikely place -- a McDonald’s restaurant.
Members of the Saginaw Safe Streets and Gang Task Force uncovered packaged heroin stashed in the McDonald’s men’s restroom Thursday evening after they saw suspicious drug activity in the restaurant’s parking lot.
Authorities say the discovery led police to execute search warrants at two addresses. It’s at those addresses where police recovered 30 to 40 packages of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and prescription medicines.
Police say the heroin alone could have a street value as high as $50,000. Officers arrested a 50-year-old Saginaw man.
