Birmingham police seized 436 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
The drug bust occurred yesterday when officers stopped a speeding tractor trailer going eastbound on Interstate 20 near the Kilgore Memorial Drive exit, they found 26 bundles of marijuana.
Police Chief Anita Nunn said the street value of the marijuana is more than $400,000.
The marijuana was hidden in the center of a load of 378 boxes marked produce.
Three suspects were arrested and the truck was seized.
