A Broomfield, Colorado police officer on foot patrol Friday night spotted something unusual in the 100 block of Hemlock Way.
A search warrant confirmed his suspicions when a North Metro Drug Task Force found 85 mature marijuana plants, several guns, and a setup to produce hashish oil, police said today.
Three residents in the home were arrested and later released pending charges related to marijuana cultivation: Pierre Balian,31; Tara Balian,30; and Dale Frye, 30.
The home is about six blocks from an alleged grow operation that was busted one day earlier.
Jason Stanley, 27, was arrested Thursday after officers served a search warrant on his home in the 300 block of Beryl Street and reportedly found 160 plants and a cache of packaged marijuana.
Police said that they discovered the Beryl Street grow operation after a patrol officer smelled the marijuana growing inside the home during a routine patrol of the neighborhood.
Stanley is free on a $10,000.00 bond.
