Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a San Luis woman Sunday morning for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into the country through the San Luis port of entry.

Crystal Murro, 22, a U.S. citizen, was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations. The drugs and vehicle were processed for seizure.

According to CBP, with the aid of a narcotics detection canine, officers found nearly five pounds of cocaine and seven pounds of methamphetamine in her 2005 Nissan Sentra during a secondary inspection.

The illegal drugs had a combined street value of nearly $150,000.

My name is Jason Jones. I'm from Rochester, MN and I'm 35 years old. I scrap metal and work as grounds keeper at a local trailer park. In the winter, I shovel a bunch of driveways and sidewalks to make some extra money and to stay busy. In my free time, I try to find interesting articles about the war on drugs that I can post on Drugs-Forum, so that the information can reach a wider audience.

LOL, well I can only speculate of course, but I'm thinking she may have fired off a quick prayer to one of the narco saints, considered making a run for it, and then finally accepted the fact and thought I'm sooooo F**kd! Or something similar.....;)

"Dayumn" is right, she won't be seeing freedom or anything outside of a government building or cell anytime soon or for most of her adult life, that's for sure! Eh, it's a gamble, a lot like playing the casinos in Vegas, when you win it's great, but the odd's are alway's on the house, and sooner or later you always BUST! (or in her case get BUSTED! :) )
