1. Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
    PLEASE HELP

    Hi All,
In the future I wish to compose much more meaningful entries (apart from the odd fun one here and there), though in the spirit of my personality I thought I'd make my very first blog post (and visitor page post) a short and sweet representation of who I am and what I like as a real person.

This post to follow, {though still what I would consider short}, is a lot more explanatory as to who I am and why I’m here. Think of it as an extended introduction of the original short-paragraph we all had to write as to why we would like to join this forum in the first place…
    During my time/s at Drugs-Forum:

    • I Want to Hear Your Stories!
I hope to meet many new and interesting people from all corners of the globe and all walks of life, as willing to share their experiences, ideas, stories, opinion/s and knowledge as I am to share mine here.
    • Give Back to the Community
I want to contribute to the Drugs Forum Community as much and as best I can by keeping all my posts and threads as informative and useful as can be, all whilst reaching out and helping as many people as possible in each thread, keeping my posts neat and on topic.
    • Writing Goal # 1
I wish to work on my writing skills, namely connecting better with the reader so that they find reading my posts (especially my long ones) a more pleasant experience rather than something they'd want to skip.
    • Writing Goal # 2
If you have seen and/or read some of my posts you'll see/know that they're rather large as I'll always try to fit in as much relevant information as possible. This brings me to my second goal I have set as a main focus for improvement: Information Management & Awareness, which is to avoid adding irrelevant information in posts/threads and to not go off on a tangent (a habit of mine, and in this case it's a bad one).
For those who’d like to know a little more about me:

    • I am the kind of person that is either overtly cheerful or immensely depressed, hardly even in between. Despite how grim things have gotten in my life, I have never lost my sense of hope, wonder and belief that things are going to turn out ok in the end.
    • I am an artist and have a diploma in makeup/special effects; my other favourite arty hobbies include writing and doing 2D/3D art on my computer with Photoshop, 3DS Max and Maya (to name a few) + I’ve recently been getting back into website development and am thoroughly enjoying both the technical and creative aspects that are involved.
    • I love Japanese culture (particularly Lolita fashion, and the video game company Square Enix). I know the Japanese language quite well and am always looking to improve my writing skills especially.
    • I have an addictive personality I’m guessing, as I love video games (among other things) and can’t stop till I’ve snapped out of hyper-focus mode to realize it’s 12:30am and I have to get up at 5:00am!
    • Methamphetamine is my potion and my poison, all mixed up into one neat little Sweet Puff glass pipe. Of all the drugs I’ve tried, it is the only one that I have not been able to properly keep myself in check with. I am currently a binge user and would not like to stay that way.
    • Oh! One last little fact, my favorite word is fantastical. Some of you may think that fantastical is not in the dictionary/technically not a real word; I am not so strung-up on such technicalities, and despite the fact that it has no dictionary meaning, it is still indeed a word; one which I love and hold dear.
