Two 20-year-old Geraldton men have been jailed for two-and-a-half years each for selling ecstasy (MDMA) at local nightclubs.
Daniel Lee Crombie and Jay Daniel McCall were arrested last year as part of Operation Summit, which targeted drug dealers in Geraldton.
In the District Court yesterday, both men pleaded guilty to selling or supplying MDMA and attempting to possess the drug with intent to sell or supply.
The court was told the pair sourced the drugs from Perth.
The prosecution submitted it was a purely commercial enterprise which continued over a period of months.
In sentencing the pair, judge Troy Sweeney said both had succumbed to the temptation of making easy money but had given no thought to the damage drugs caused.

We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
