JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. – A Jackson County pet owner was jailed after his dog tested positive for methamphetamine.
Marty Rogers brought his mix terrier, Little Guy, to Hoschton Animal Hospital Aug. 18. According to a report from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Little Guy "was extremely nervous and constantly (pacing) and panting and restless."
A veterinarian tested Little Guy and said the dog was positive for meth. The vet called police. Rogers was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. Jackson County Animal Control took possession of Little Guy.
