Panamanian authorities on Monday seized 600 kilos of cocaine discovered inside a speedboat that was abandoned on the shores of Isla Grande, in the province of Colon on the Caribbean coast, according to the spokesman of the Naval Air Service (Senan), Vladimir Rodriguez.
The boat, named "The Costeñita", was reportedly carrying five people when it was spotted by a Senan coastal patrol ship in the area of Isla Grande, where it was abandoned by its occupants who fled the area and hid, said Rodriguez.
Upon inspection, the staff of Anti Drug Prosecutor's office from Colon discovered 17 "bundles" containing a total of 600 kilos of cocaine inside of the boat.
The load was delivered to the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ) of the National Police (PN) for the Anti Drug Prosecutor's office for safekeeping. (Telemetro)

If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up.
