MASSACHUSETTS -The padding of a fake butt was not enough to hide a Massachusetts woman’s drug stash. The derriere insert, however, did confuse a Bourne police officer who wondered why Jill Roy’s underwear was so hard during a pat down at the Barnstable County jail, according to a police report obtained by the Smoking Gun.
“I don’t have a butt so I wear these and another pair of underwear under it,” Roy told Officer Nicole Bevilacqua while being booked.
The officers noted in a report that the 33-year-old was on probation and has “a very lengthy criminal record” related to illegal narcotics. She was caught during a Sept. 16 traffic stop when officers noted the passengers of the car that Roy was driving appeared to be stashing things under the seat.
A packet of pills had managed to slip down her pants while standing near the patrol vehicle, as her friend locked the car door on the officers and proceeded to have a profanity-laced conversation with herself, the report shows. “That’s not mine, officer, I swear,” Roy cried.
The officers then found bags of marijuana that admittedly belonged to Roy and were hidden in the car that belonged to a known criminal, the officers stated.
But there was more drugs soon to be discovered when she became “visibly upset” at the jail when the female officer asked her to take off the “hard exterior underwear” revealing a “large bulge” in the second layer of underwear. The bag of pills and heroin had been hiding there all the while.
Roy was booked on a traffic violation and several drug charges, including possession with the intent to distribute.
