Ecstasy tablets, pill press seized
ABOUT 1500 pills suspected to be ecstasy were seized by police yesterday, along with a pill press, in a raid on a Parafield Gardens home.
Detectives from the Drug Investigation Branch arrested two Parafield Gardens men, aged 33 and 35, for drug trafficking and possessing equipment to manufacture drugs.
Acting officer in charge of the drug investigation branch, Detective Inspector John De Candia, said the haul would take dangerous drugs off the streets.
"We welcome any opportunity to be able to disrupt the activities of those involved in serious organised crime and taking away the tools of the trade that they use to produce these pills is another way of dismantling their operations that cause harm to others," he said.
The two men will appear in court at a later date.

Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
