Gardaí seize €100k of drugs in Limerick

    Gardaí have seized drugs estimated to be worth around €100,000 during a raid on the outskirts of Limerick City overnight.

    Up to one kilo of cannabis herb was recovered during the operation on the Tipperary Road at around 10pm.

    A man is being questioned by Gardaí.

    Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Gardaí from Roxboro Road in Limerick City, seized stock suspected of been from a headshop, including drug paraphanaelia, knives, and cash.

    They found the items after they stopped a car in the Roxboro Shopping Centre at around 10pm.

    Two men are helping Gardaí with their enquiries.
