After Jwh-018 and CP47.497, another two cannabinoids; JWH-019 and JWH-073 will be placed under the control of the German Narcotics law.

On the 33rd session of the Narcotics Law Committee, at the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medicines, a new law was written to bring JWH-019 and JWH-073 under the control of the German Narcotics Law.

The law is expected to take effect with the next weeks.

JWH-073 was found in products like 'Forest Humus', 'Scope' and others that have been for sale since the end of last year.

The committee also recommended to bring JWH-018 and CP47.497 under permanent control of the narcotics law. They where banned last January, with an emergency measure, which is a temporary measure.

What was there reasoning (if any) for controlling JWH-019? I can't seem to find any significant data on it..

Ah it's the N-hexyl naphthoylindole, I obviously didn't look hard enough.

It was probably found in specific products in Germany, like senscation.

    Yes that's probably it.

This is becoming a bit of a cat and mouse game it seems, but I suppose if the EU have their way that game will come to an end. It will be a sad day when analogue laws in whatever from they may take are introuced throughout the EU states, but an inevitable one I feel.

hm so far it seems like the law currently did not passed the "Bundesrat". But it will happen of course, just a matter of time.
The latest news I could find are from the 4th November 2009, it would be a wonder if the law wouldn´t pass the Bundesrat.
Also the law contains a little more: JWH-019, JWH-073 and also Mephedrone (4-Methylmethcathinon).
The information can be found in an official press release of the BMG:

Currently no analogue law in sight in Germany, Sabine Bätzing said in the first prohibition wave (JWH 018 and CP 47,497) that several cannabinoids are under medical research.
If they would make such analogue laws, this research also would end. Also the first goal was reached after the Spice ban.
The amount of sold Spice was incredible high in the end of 2008, after the ban at the beginning of this year, the request for smoking blends where close to zero.
A reason for that was a "fake" product (no cannabinoids in it) which copied the name and look of Spice in every way, it was called "Space" and appeared as Silver, Gold, Diamond, Arctic Synergy, Tropical Synergy etc. It required some time before new blends came up and the interest grew again, I believe that now all the "incense blend" smokers slowly came back.
The most important blends in Germany had been Scope, SenCation and Forest Humus, but those blends are allready leaving the market and the third generation of blends allready arrived on the German market.
This time they reacted earlier to not give fakers the chance to ruin the sales again. The producers of Forest Humus allready made "King B" and of course the others will follow. Not to forget the new companies who show up every few months, so the amount of different blends also grows from month to month in Germany.
In my opinion the whole situation is allready totaly out of control, because even if a blend comes up which contains an illegal substance, they have to proof it first to make it illegal. Which means, even if there are several other blends containing JWH 073 and 019, they will still sell them in Germany, because nobody knows they are in there....
