Sometimes, when you play the game of twenty questions - you play in order to figure things out as soon as possible but I'm wanting to find out all twenty answers. I played this game recently with one of my favourite members on Drugs-Forum on chat. I didn't want to annoy everyone with posting this as a thread so I thought I would blog it, since it's a fairly personal thing anyway and then people can respond at will.
And will they should. Haha, but seriously - some of the questions are a little weird but it's all in the name of fun and I'd like to get to know y'all a little better. I went first so I've paved the way. You're turn:
1.) What's the best advice that you've received?
"There's always one, you know. You can be the juiciest, ripest peach and there's always that one bitch in the corner that's like, 'I don't like peaches.''"
Words to live your life by, Thank you Robbie Turner, for the turn of phrase of that wonderful Dita von Teese saying.
2.) What's your spirit animal and why?
Kylie Jenner. I joke. No, I've always said it would be an Osprey; a particular selection, I know. Here's why: I love fish and seafood so the diet is perfect, I love the sea air and flying over the sea would be so refreshing and wonderful. I have this irrational fear of being eaten since watching the film "Wrong Turn" so I would have to be an apex predator but not like one that has to work that hard and you know the saying - there's always plenty more fish in the sea.
3.) Which one is your favourite: Hallowe'en, Christmas, your Birthday (pick just one)?
Hallowe'en. Hate my birthday, Hate forced family time so has to be the queen of all holidays: Hallowe'en. Who doesn't love Hallowe'en? It's gay Christmas.
4.) You're stranded on a desert island, you've got all you need to survive...what three luxuries would you want with you?
A notepad and pen, a pack of playing cards and a compendium of Agatha Christie novels but maybe not "And Then There Were None" - too real.
5.) Go on, What's the main reason you come on Drugs-Forum (only pick one)?
Fascination, community or boredom. I'll say fascination...I'm so interested in drug use and other people's relationship with drugs and their relationship to their bodies/emotions/feelings. Drugs for me are a way of controlling things we don't normally have control over and the repercussions and lessons we learn from that, the people that choose those prices and their reasons for doing so fascinate me.
6.) Who was your first crush?
Zac from "Saved by the Bell", Harvey from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" or the entire boyband "East 17"...yeah, I guess I've always been a slut.
7.) Who is your latest crush?
8.) What's your favourite aesthetic feature and your most deplored character trait?
My ears, or my cheekbones. My incessant-ness, from my incessant chatter, my incessant thinking, my incessant fears, worries, pains, confusions, itches, twitches, quirks, thoughts, panics. It's everything, it never stops. My therapist once said to me at the end of the session: "Gosh, it must be exhausting to be you".
9.) With which celebrity would you most like to go to a 'Roller-rink Disco'?
Lily Allen, drugged up about five years ago.
10.)What's the worst musical you've ever seen?
Come for me if you want but honestly, it's probably "Meet me in St. Louis" - I mean, what the hell is that film about?! Also, that creepy little girl and her dug up dolls. Weird.
11.) What would your perfect date be?
April 24th - all you need is a light jacket. I jest, I guess for a date I'd go for a movie and a meth-bong.
12.) What's the soundtrack of your life?
Gosh - not sure. Ermmm, I have no idea - "LDN" by Lily Allen because my life is just like that, it looks great at first glance but look a little harder and really it's just "a pimp and his crack-whore" - I refer to myself as both.
13.) What's your favourite joke or funny saying (or one of them at least)?
Gosh - my favourite joke might be a little offensive. Apologies, if this offends - it's just a little twisted:
What's the leading cause of paedophilia?
14.) If you had an alter ego, what would their name be and what would they do?
I guess my drag character: April Swift. April after April in "Parks and Recreation" because I jokingly enjoy hating humans. Swift because it's actually the first street I lived and I'm pretty damn swift and speedy.
15.) What do you hate that everyone else seems to love?
Everything. I put this question in to see what people came out with because I have so many: sunshine, tomato ketchup, human interaction, the postman, sleeping, cannabis, alcohol.
16.) Pick one of the following: Earth, Air, Fire or Water?
Earth. Stay grounded and gritty. We'll all end up there someday, why not pick it now?
17.) Which circus skill would you most like to have?
Contortionist. I have semi-contortion abilities given that I can almost do the box-splits, I can get both legs behind my head, pretzel-walk, can almost do a standing-split and pick a piece of flat paper up from the floor with both hands behind my back and without touching my knees to the ground - I brag... - but honestly, I'd like to do more.
18.) What movement, action, attribute or quirk would have someone say "Oh, typical [insert your name]!" or "Classic [insert your name] move"?
Either an eye-roll, talking at a million-miles an hour or never blinking with wide, wide blue scary eyes.
19.) What's the most outrageous thing that you've ever worn?
Phew, I have done drag - I guess. I have gone out in just dungaree shorts, cute.
20.) If you were a drug which one would you be?
Tina - of course, darling. A whirlwind of energy, speedy. Fascinating at first, but will slowly drive you MAD.
Come on, come on. As I said, I'm here for fascination, so fascinate me.
Tell me your shit.
