Greece: Almost 200 kilos of hashish seized
ATHENS -- Greek police has seized close to 200 kilograms of hashish discovered in a car which arrived from Albania.
ANA news agency has reported that the driver, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested.
During a routine check of the vehicles in the town of Nea Selefkia, police discovered 192.86 kilograms of the drug, packed in eight bags found in the suspect’s car.
Police are trying to establish a connection between the smuggler's and his associates in Greece, where the drugs were supposed to be delivered.
