Kilo of cocaine found on Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH - Some people find garbage, seashells, or seaweed on the shoreline. Andy Trupin found a kilo of cocaine.
Trupin, 56, of Delray Beach, was walking along the 1600 block of South Ocean Boulevard around 7:40 p.m. Sept. 10 when he spotted a brick like object near the shore he thought was cocaine and called police.
Police came and confiscated the brick of powder then looked along the shore for other kilos to no avail. Officers took it back to the station and tested it -- Cocaine indeed. It was placed into evidence.
