Man arrested after heroin found in mail

A man faces a court date next week after two children's books and a photo album inside a postal package didn't throw off inspectors who discovered the Country-Club-Hills-bound parcel also contained a half-kilo of heroin.
Ryan S. Jaime, 37, was arrested Tuesday after authorities saw him carrying the package near the south suburban home where a trigger device alerted authorities tracking it that someone had opened the box, according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday.

Federal authorities had replaced the heroin - which had been wrapped in plastic and stuffed, along with clothes-dryer sheets to mask the smell inside the photo album -- with a fake substance.

The package, which was shipped to a home in the 4900 block of Mary Court, had a Belize return address, according to the compliant.

A preliminary hearing for Jaime has been set for Tuesday before Magistrate Judge Nan Nolan.

So what. They have to prove he knew illegal substance was enroute.Otherwise anyone could setup their enemies with a kilo sent by the postal service. Then call the government enforcers with tip. This could be bogus setup. Happens all the time.Don't like someone.Sneak over plant a few plants in their yard. It's a known fact cops have throw down guns incase they shoot an unarmed person.Dirty bastards the whole lot of them really.
