An Irvine man has been arrested with 2.5 gallons of GHB and more than 200 ecstasy tablets after police found him asleep in his car with his engine still running.
Police Lt. Henry Boggs said Monday that a patrol officer found 38-year-old Cyrus Ravan parked on the roadside Saturday evening.
Boggs says officers searched Ravan's vehicle, found the drugs, and arrested Ravan on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale.
Boggs says police searched his Irvine home and seized another gallon of GHB and illegal steroids.
GHB is a club drug also known as a date rape drug or "liquid ecstasy."
