More than 1600 marijuana plants seized in Woodson County, Kansas

    The Woodson County, Kansas sheriff's department seized 1,632 marijuana plans in a rural part of the county.

    Woodson County Sheriff Shannon Moore says thanks to a tip deputies located the plants, valued at around $1.6 million.

    At first, inspection deputies believed it was ditch weed until further investigation.

    Some of the plants were 15 and 16 feet tall.

    No suspects are in custody.
    The sheriffs department is following a number of leads.
