It can be tough to manufacture drugs and not arouse suspicion. But sooner or later, someone's going to wonder what's going on.
North Vancouver RCMP secured a search warrant on Friday for a garage in the 2100-block of Mountain Highway after a landlord noticed suspicious activity. The bust turned up more than 500 grams of ecstasy and powder precursors, along with the equipment used to create the tablets.
Charged with several counts of producing ecstasy, several counts of possession and one count of possessing a weapon is Burnaby resident Manh Van Dam, who is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 2
RCMP say ecstasy can be purchased on the street for about $5 to $10 per tablet. Due to the danger of this drug and it's production, the RCMP urge those who know of an ecstasy lab to call their local police department. Or if you wish to remain anonymous call CRIME STOPPERS
