Police in central Pennsylvania say they've nabbed a real pothead. They said an officer spotted 29-year-old Cesar Lopez inside a convenience store with a bag of marijuana stuck to his forehead.

Investigators said Lopez was seen peering inside his baseball cap early Saturday morning in Lebanon, about 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia. When Lopez looked up, the officer noticed a small plastic bag appearing to contain marijuana stuck to his forehead.

Police said the officer peeled the bag off Lopez's forehead and placed him under arrest. He has been charged with drug possession. Police do not know whether Lopez has an attorney.

Authorities say the sweatband of a baseball cap is a frequent hiding place for drugs.

Damn it I opened this up with the thought: please have a picture, please god, please let it have a picture.

Is this really a common hiding spot? swim's never heard of it being used... Most people he knows just use a pocket.

That's hilarious! A friend is SWIM's did get busted with drugs inside his turban, but he didn't take it off without being forced to.

SwiM's heard of quite a few people hiding pot in their hats - however yeah there's better ways to do this.

Bless the media and their uncanny ability to make anything sound bizarre enough to read about it. They just got us all to read a rather bland story about a guy who hid a bag of weed in his hat and get caught ..

Damn, placed under arrest? I'm so glad that where I live, possession of under an ounce isn't even an arrestable offense, punished by only a $100 fine.

They didn't put him in prison, unless he had a warrant out or something. Being arrested only means that you have to go through the court procedures, not always jail time.

And as far as the brim of a hat as being a stash spot, not too good for something like bud. Especially if it's over a gram. But I guess it would get past a quick frisking. The longer I live, the more I realize how stupid my state is. No wonder why I wanna get the hell outta here.

And the media did do a good job making this every-day situation into something attention grabbing.

Yes, of course. It was a long time ago. He was on bail for dealing and was silly enough to go into the police station with a stash in his turban. He thought that the police would not be able to search his turban for cultural reasons. He was wrong!

Here in California possession of a personal amount under 1 ounce is a 100 dollar fine.
