Police arrested Stephen Bradford Crowe at his Adelaide Terrace home this morning for allegedly importing six kilograms of cocaine, hidden inside muscle growth accelerator.
The drugs were found in five plastic containers by Perth's border protection authorities earlier this month, when the package arrived from Arizona.
The Australian Federal Police conducted a controlled delivery to Bunbury where Mr Crowe allegedly collected the containers.
The AFP commander in Perth, Jamie Strauss, says it is the biggest seizure in WA this year.
"Thanks to the skill of the customs and border protection officers in identifying risk factors and applying a range of technologies, officers were able to detect and prevent the consignment from being delivered," he said.
"(It) should act as a warning to anyone attempting to import illegal narcotics into Australia."
Mr Crowe is due back in the Perth Magistrates Court on the 24th of September.
