Pot, plants, hashish, equipment seized
More than $400,000 worth of marijuana and hashish as well as cannabis processing equipment was confiscated Thursday during a search of a Sonoma Valley home, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
Acting on a tip, detectives served a search warrant on an Ola Court residence at about 1 p.m., Detective Sgt. Glenn Lawrence said in a press release.
About 100 pounds of processed marijuana, 96 live pot plants and growing equipment were seized, he said. Also confiscated were several pounds of hashish, numerous vials of concentrated cannabis oil along with oil extraction equipment and more than $49,000 in cash.
The case remains under investigation, Lawrence said
