1. Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.

Presidential Hopeful Chris Christie Would Push to Uphold Federal Pot Laws, if Elected

WASHINGTON - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he'd revive enforcement of federal marijuana law in states that have legalized recreational use of the drug if he were president.

And he says if that position causes him political trouble in battleground Colorado, so be it. He says he won't pander to voters or hide his positions for political expediency.

Federal and some state laws on marijuana are in conflict. But the federal government has adopted a hands-off approach to states with lenient marijuana laws. The Justice Department has told such states that it won't challenge their laws so long as marijuana is tightly regulated. Colorado is one of them.

Christie spoke Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation." He says he'll decide this month whether to seek the Republican presidential nomination.

He is about as electable as Homer Simpson.

Most Americans are in favor of legalized medicinal use. This moron couldn't smoke since McDonald's doors aren't wide enough to cram his fat ass though after getting the munchies.

And that is the funniest line of the entire story. The man is doing everything he can to pander to the most extreme base of his party.

When voters in our state okayed medical marijuana, he dragged his heels for YEARS implementing it. Even when confronted with real human suffering in the state he's supposed to be governing. Even when implored by the parents of a little girl with a rare form of epilepsy that could only be controled by a certain strain of marijuana. They finally gave up, had to pull up stakes and move to Colorado.

I mean, he can't take the chance of seeming 'soft' on drugs somewhere down the presidential line.
