Police have raided a home at Carlingford, in Sydney’s north-west, uncovering cannabis plants worth more than $570,000.
About 9.25am yesterday (Wednesday 26 May), police attached to State Crime Command’s Asian Crime Squad conducted a search warrant on a residence in North Rocks Road, Carlingford.
During the raid, police were assisted by officers from The Hills Local Area Command and Gordon Region Enforcement Squad.
Police forced entry to the single-storey house where they allegedly located six growing rooms and 287 hydroponically-enhanced cannabis plants.
Police will allege the plants have an estimated potential street value of $574,000.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the search warrant and investigations are continuing to identify the owners of the property and those responsible for the cultivation of the drugs.
