DENVER - Owners of marijuana shops on Denver’s South Broadway corridor are banding together in a new marketing campaign. The concentration of recreational pot shops and medical cannabis dispensaries on Broadway has given the commercial strip the informal moniker of the “Green Mile.”
That name is the basis of the newly created Green Mile on Broadway Association.
Twitter talk: Seth Rogen threatens to ‘smoke weed in the White House,’ Snoop responds,
"The intent of our organization is to do a national advertising campaign with the goal of bringing in tourists to promote this little stretch of Broadway,” said Tim Cullen, owner of the Evergreen Apothecary, a marijuana store at 1568 S. Broadway. The prospective ad campaign would not mention marijuana, in order to avoid running afoul of strict legal regulations, but would promote the area as a general retail destination.
Several owners of antique stores along South Broadway say they are concerned that the Green Mile initiative would dilute their long-term effort to promote the area as “Antique Row.”'

Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
