Rhys Ifans makes his marks in Mr Nice trailer
FANS can finally catch a glimpse of the long-awaited biopic of notorious Welsh drug smuggler Howard Marks ahead of its release later this year.
The trailer for the film, directed by Bernard Rose, has been released online this week.
Twin Town star Rhys Ifans plays Kenfig Hill-born Marks alongside Chloe Sevigny, who stars as his wife Judy.
Ifans is fulfilling a long-standing agreement with friend Marks to play the rogue drug dealer in the film based on his best selling autobiography Mr Nice.
If the three-minute trailer is anything to go by fans can expect plenty of sex, drugs and a rock ’n’ roll soundtrack.
Mr Nice reveals the story behind how he smuggled hundreds of tonnes of hashish in the ’70s and ’80s before being banged up in one of Americas toughest prisons.
Shot in several different countries, including Wales, Mr Nice is scheduled for release at the end of February.
