York, Neb. - A 61-year-old man from Cottage Grove, Wis., has been arrested after nearly 64 pounds of marijuana was found in his car, according to Nebraska officials.
A news release from the Nebraska State Patrol says the westbound car was pulled over for failure to signal near mile marker 365 in York County around 9 p.m. Sunday.
The release says a patrol dog taken to the scene indicated that drugs were in the car trunk. A trooper found the marijuana there, wrapped in plastic bags.
The driver was identified as John Dixon of Cottage Grove. He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver.
A York County jail spokeswoman said Dixon remained in custody on Monday. Records don't yet list his attorney's name
