Police arrest two in McDonald’s parking lot.

Police say they caught two men in the middle of a pot-and-Percocet drug deal at a McDonald’s parking lot and arrested the pair on multiple charges.

James Archer, 18, of 545 Pearl St., Apt. 2, faces charges that include possession of a Class B drug for distribution, possession of a Class D drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Timothy Oregan, 18, of 100 Woodpecker Road, was charged with two counts of possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute.

Both were arrested just after 9 p.m. Tuesday at the fast-food restaurant, 422 Washington St.

Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said the arrests followed a surveillance operation by Stoughton police officers John Gagne and John Hartford.

Devine said the officers searched the car and found an ounce of marijuana and 14 Percocet pills without a prescription.
