1 April 2008
Cambell Live, TV3
It is Tuesday 1 April 2008, the first day that selling BZP-related party is illegal. You may drink yourself stupid with alcohol, but taking BZP is now not an option.
This begs the question of what people who used BZP will now take. Will they drink excessive amounts of alcohol? Would that be a victory? They may take ecstasy, at the lower end of the scale, or P at the very troublesome end.
They may take the new party pills - which the Dominion Post says are just as good as BZP.
Campbell Live investigates what is in these pills and talks to Matt Bowden, founder of Stargate International, the company that first gave New Zealand BZP-based party pills and is now providing BZP-free party pills.

Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
