Three held over cocaine seizures
Three people have been arrested following seizures of an estimated €1.25m worth of cocaine in three separate garda operations in Finglas and Blanchardstown.
A house in Blanchardstown was searched yesterday as part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity and drug dealing in the area.
An estimated €1.1m of the drug was seized, and a 26-year-old man was arrested.
Officers from the district drugs unit also found mixing agents, a compressor and other mixing and distribution paraphernalia.
The cocaine was seized during the course of the search, which was carried out by detectives from the Blanchardstown Drug and Detective Units.
The man was arrested and is being held at Finglas Garda Station.
2kg of cocaine was also recovered in two other separate operations in Finglas and Blanchardstown.
1kg was discovered when a house was searched in Finglas while another was discovered when a man was stopped while he was transferring it in a car.
