1. Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 4 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.

State police made a large synthetic drug bust after a routine traffic stop on Friday in Killingly.

Around 6:45 p.m. on April 12, troopers from the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force stopped a 1999 Volkswagen Passat for a motor vehicle violation and found approximately 1,163 bags of synthetic marijuana in the car, police said.

The synthetic marijuana weighed approximately 16 pounds and has a street value of approximately $17,500.

The driver, Wael Abunsar, 42 of Niantic, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

Abunsar was held on $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on April 30.

This is the third largest drug seizure conducted by the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force.
