Turkish Security Forces Seize Hashish and Heroin
Turkish security forces confiscated 167 kilograms of hashish and five kilograms of heroin throughout the country on Thursday.
Narcotic teams acted on a tip-off, seized 110 kilograms of hashish in the southern province of Mersin, and arrested four people.
In a separate operation in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir, gendarmery forces impounded 37.6 kilograms of hashish and detained two people.
Also, police took into custody two people with 19.6 kilograms of hashish in the central province of Kayseri.
Police also confiscated five kilograms of heroin in Bodrum town of the Aegean town and arrested a Japanese national.
