Two arrested after over 100 pounds of hashish discovered
Two men were arrested Thursday after Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office officials found more than 100 pounds of processed marijuana and a lab used to manufacture hashish in a residence they were staying in, a Siskiyou County sheriff's official said today.
Cody Alan Saarloos, age 24 of Ukiah and Joshua Ryan Nuckols, 32, of Ventura were arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and hashish for sale and using a building to store and sell controlled substances, Siskiyou County sheriff's spokeswoman Susan Gravenkamp said in a news release today.
The two were staying in a building in Gottville on the Klamath River along Highway 96 northwest of Yreka, Gravenkamp said. The two were using the building without the owner's consent.
Nuckols was booked into the Siskiyou County Jail and was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Saarloos was booked into jail and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
