Koblenz, Germany - A two-metre-high Christmas tree in a German home turned out on closer inspection to be a cannabis plant, police reported Wednesday.

The plant stood in a Christmas tree holder and was decorated with fairy lights, officers in the western city of Koblenz said.

The owner said he planned to add more decorations and place presents beneath the 'tree.'

'All you need is love - hippies celebrate Christmas too,' the police said of their unusual find. Earlier, drug squad officers had also found 150 grammes of marijuana in the man's possession.

here's a pic of it, from when the story ran in the Metro a couple weeks ago :D

Wow. A potentially awesome Christmas evening ruined by asshat law enforcement. 'Tis a sad story indeed.

That's why you put your Christmas tree near the back window. :smoking:

Whats so special about a two meter cannabis plant?? It would be special if it would be a 6 meter high cannabis plant. But then the police would not recognize it anymore.

It has unusually nice decorations, however.

Question answered. were does Christmas bud come from?
  9. Sumeru
Not sure. But SWIM did once smoke a very light, almost "frosty"-green seasonal strain that his dealer friend called "Christmas haze".

I was making a bit of a joke. Didn't mean to present my statement as fact or anything like that. Sorry
  11. Sumeru
Oh ok. Sorry. I took your reply out of context I guess. Nonetheless, I do think there are actual "Christmas buds"... and let SWIM tell you that they're awesome :joint:
