If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.

Weed Dealers, a Tad Too High, Call Cops on Themselves

Have you ever been so high that you called the cops on yourself? Well, these guys were.

Leland Ayala-Doliente and Holland Sward were attempting to move 20 pounds of marijuana from Las Vegas to Bozeman, Montana, when they started to get a bit paranoid. The two broke the golden rule of smuggling and dipped into their stash.

Unfortunately, a well-known side effect of marijuana consumption is paranoia and the two started to believe the police were following them when they reached the Idaho border. They were not.

Frustrated that the police weren't arresting them fast enough, the two pulled off the freeway and decided to call 911 on themselves.

"Hi, uh, we’re the two dumb asses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border and all your cops are just driving around us like a bunch of jack wagons and I’d just like for you guys to end it," Ayala-Doliente told police. "If you could help me out with that, we would like to just get on with it we would like to just get on with it."

The 911 call, which was obtained by East Idaho News, is comical to say the least. Ayala-Doliente was unusually polite when asking to kindly be arrested faster, admitting that the two even attempted to wave down the cops that were surrounding them.

According to East Idaho News, the two men had their hands behind their heads when police arrived and found 20 pounds of pot and $567 in cash. Both of the men were arrested with one count of trafficking marijuana.

Sward pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver in June and was sentenced to five years in prison. But District Judge Greg Moeller decided that was a bit harsh and sentenced Sward to 30 days in jail and five years of probation. Ayala-Doliente was sentenced to one-and-a-half to eight years in prison because he tested positive for marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone when he showed up in court to be sentenced.
