With ALL due respect to the moderator, SWIM
respects the point made and always weighs SWIM's dosages. But unless one can establish the amount of active ingrediants in the plant material
someone wishes to consume, measurment by any means, weight or volume of plant material, is at best guess work.
Case in point, SWIM currently has pods from 2 venders. SWIM consumes a dosage of 6 grams from vendor A and all is good. Swim consumes a dosage of 20 grams from vendor B for an equal effect. If SWIM is basing dosage on vendor B and trys vendor A pods at 20 grams, there is trouble, thus the warning to ALWAYS TRY ANY NEW BATCH OF PODS WITH CAUTION!!!. But my point is made.
If the OP measures out X oz of seed to make 1 cup of tea, because the last batch of seed SWIY used that was a good doeage, but the seeds from the last batch were from SWIM's vender B and these seeds are from vendor A, having a scale (or cup) will not make any differance because the OP does not know that these seeds have 3.5 x more active ingrediants.
I guess I'm really just trying to say, BE CAREFUL, however you measure. The amount of active ingrediants of plant material is always an unknown.
