Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 3 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
Swim wants to store his Kratom, so he saves shipping. I would think storing it in the freezer would maybe freeze burn it. Would it be better off in the refrigerator? Or is both a bad idea? How long is kratom good for? What about in the freezer, or the refrigerator?
Assuming Swiy is talking about dry leaf/powder there is no reason to refridgerate it. As long as it is packed in airtight containers or vacume sealed in bag and stored in a dark cool place out of direct sunlight Kratom should be able to be stored for a long time with little potency loss.
Swiy could keep it in the fridge if they wanted but a freezer is probably unnecessary espicially as there should be no moisture in the leaf/powder.
