I was sort of thinking the same thing about alcohol
. Especially since it is a solvent. But, I think it would all depend on what
you were trying to clean out. I'd think that alcohol would tax your liver to the point that it wouldn't be able to get anything else out of your system. The solvent properties may clean out some stuff, but the stress on the liver makes it hard to get anything out, so I'm not really sure.
Most tests that I've seen can detect alcohol up to 72 hours after ingestion. So it would have to be done earlier.
