Last night, SWIM
took 500mg Diphenhydramine
and 100mg 5-HTP. 45 minutes later, he smoked a bowl of weed
, so that he would come up on both drugs
at about the same time. He had the most vivid hallucinations on this dose that he has had on DPH yet, although nothing out of this world. For example, he saw a large amount of water on his wall dripping/flowing down. When he went out into a darkened hall, everything in his vision became blue, which looked quite pretty. He looked at a wall in the hallway and saw 50 large glowing orbs with legs crawling around all over it.
He still had incurable drymouth and mild uncomfort, but nothing terrible. All of his thought patterns would turn into conversations with himself, or other people. Some conversations were actually reproductions of real conversations he had had in the past week. Eventually, he would always feel compelled to say something out loud. He would struggle for a while, not sure if he really wanted to, but would always eventually say it. This would suddenly bring him back to reality, he would realize that there was no one in the room he was talking to, and his voice would sound foreign and distant. He often saw more large tentacly spiders on his walls, some of them would fly at his face and then upwards at the last second before they hit him.
Trying to respond to a text message he got from his girlfriend was a daunting task. It was extremely difficult for his eyes to focus, so the text on the cell phone remained mostly blurry. He realized that he had just sent the word "Thanks" instead of his intended message. He tried two more times to send the real message, thinking both times he had accomplished it, but when he woke up in the morning, there were no other messages sent, just the "Thanks."
He also woke up to the fan that is at the foot of his bed knocked on the floor and the cover broken off. The log he typed up while tripping was also no where to be found.
Even though he only started coming up at about 1 hour in, by 2 hours in he was almost back to baseline. However, it is 22 hours later and he still is not completely back.
All day today, whenever SWIM would unfocus his eyes while staring at a uniform surface, curvy lines would begin to dance around all over the surface. He would also slip into daydreams easily, and still feels a bit spacey. Benedryl HPPD
is certainly interesting.
While this trip certainly was characteristic of benedryl, SWIM feels that the marijuana
slightly enhanced the hallucinations (visual slightly, audio
quite a bit), and evened out the uncomfortable body feelings (with the exception of drymouth).
