Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 3 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
As you might have seen, I posted a thread that stated that 10 beta-ketones are being temporarily scheduled (1) including a-pvp. I would like to get any feedback on what is still legal that would give that feeling that a-pvp and previously MDPV created, and which can also be vaporized as a salt. Preferably something related to the "PV's" and more distantly perhaps the "pentedrones" as I remember it stated. Any feedback is good feedback.
That is wonderful; forget a-pvp, but it's supposedly better than MDPV, that's remarkable.
I have one reservation about this compound, however. The para-methylated version of this chemical is MPHP, MPHP can lead to serious poisoning with toxic liver damage and rhabdomyolysis. And since they are only one carbon away from being identical, molecularly, then we must consider this possibility before trying it at least until it is proven, or even until a general consensus is reached among potential users. And if anyone thinks they can find any data on this, post it ASAP! Someone should make a drug info page on a-PHP if it hasn't been done already.
And last I will say that I am on my knees praying that this stuff is safe, and legit. Otherwise this ban may take a toll on me for a good while, as I am a regular user of a-PVP and if this new stuff doesn't check out, I'm fucked.
According to academic studies, para-methylated derivatives may cause liver failure as a sad side effect, eg. MPHP (MePHP), pyrovalerone, MPPP (MePPP) because of metabolism of these derivatives: the para-methyl functional group is metabolised by cytochrome P450 which leads to toxic metabolites.
This problem does not apply to derivates without para-methyl group as alpha-PVP, alpha-PPP and alpha-PHP. So I think there's nothing to worry about, Your liver shouldn't suffer that much : )
