SWIM was telling me an intersting story of how he and his friend went through his dad's room and found a few pills...One of which being a 30mg Morphine Sulfate pill.
SWIM was wondering if it was safe to take this. He has no idea on the expiration date (he already threw the pakcaging away). The only experience SWIM has had with pills was when he once took 3 Lortab (Cannot recall dose) and was feeling very good and euphoric for hours!
Will this be the same or better?
Will it make SWIM nauseas? Lightheaded? Slur speech? etc?
And SWIM has read about scraping off the red covering on the pills so it works faster and stronger. Is this recommended.
One last question from SWIM. He will be taking the morphine before a local heavy metal/rock concert....Is this non-adviseable?
If one was to have no tolerance then yes, it will be noticeable that SWIY is on something.
There will be a slight lethargy the following day.
Opiates are not recommended for use during a rock concert. If one is to become too sedated then when everyone else rushes the stage how will one survive? LOL. It seems that the smart thing to do is use it after the concert when one wants to chill. The 30mgs are great to smoke BTW they seem to have this "SWEET" taste to them that other MScontin tablets do not have.
regardless of what swiy wants to do with it, 30mg is probably a good dose. so chewing/crushing the pill and then swallowing it would be a good idea as swiy will probably hardly feel anything if taken in its time release form. and swim will feel a euphoria like the lortab. everyone prefers different things. swim has been to many shows on opioids and found it to be good. but feeling warm, content, and comfortable is enjoyable ANYTIME. lol.
swim doesn't think that a concert ould be the best place to take morphine for the first time. the first few times swim did morphine, he did get fairly nauseious.(sp?) he didn't throw up, but he definately wouldn't want to be moving around a lot. swim is also considerably smaller than swiy, but it could still happen. aside from the nausea, there really shouldn't be a problem. swiy will be lazy and such, but definately not too messed up to be in public.
btw, in swims experience, morphine doesn't have the same euphoria as vicodin. there isn't really much euphoria at all.
SWIM has reported back and told me how his night went.
He started off the night by chewing up the 30mg at 5:30. By 6:00, the effects were starting to become noticeable. Slight headchange and his legs felt heavy.
He says that during the entire night, he LOVED smoking cigarettes. They seemed to be so relaxing. During the show, SWIM says that he felt kind of numb. Like he couldn't feel anything at all.
But during the show, he was also one of the craziest guys there. He was moshing, headbanging, yelling, throwing hands in the air, and singing along wiht the bands. This has never happened before at a concert and all of SWIM's friends laughed at him because of the sudden change.
He was also very talkative between sets. He would yell to the band members, talk to them, go up to random people and talk, and just had no worries at all. He felt as if he could finally be himself without thinking about it.
At the end of the night, he left the show with a sore neck, dead arms, a sore back, and tired legs. He was drenched in sweat by the end of the show.
The following day, the soreness increased to a full body ache. All of his muscles hurt from the show. But as the day progressed, he began to feel much better.
Overall, SWIM says the experience was great and wishes he could do it all over again.
