Dear Drugs-Forum readers: We are a small non-profit that runs one of the most read drug information & addiction help websites in the world. We serve over 3 million readers per month, and have costs like all popular websites: servers, hosting, licenses and software. To protect our independence we do not run ads. We take no government funds. We run on donations which average $25. If everyone reading this would donate $5 then this fund raiser would be done in an hour. If Drugs-Forum is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online another year by donating whatever you can today. Donations are currently not sufficient to pay our bills and keep the site up. Your help is most welcome. Thank you.
Since swim has a decent bit of oxy in his name leftover from wisdom teeth removal, he decided to test the potentiation of oxy with different mixtures of: Tagamets, Tums, and Grapfruit Juice.
Swim took 10mg of oxy with only tums to potentiate.
Swim took 2 tums before taking the oxy. One "Extra strength 750" tum taken 20 minutes before taking oxy, and one taken at the same time as oxys.
Effects began in 30-40 minutes as normal. Effects seemed normal throughout. Seems like swim managed to squeeze another 35-50 minutes of high before coming back down.
Overall, the Tums did seem to lengthen the duration of the oxycodone high, but strength of oxycodone seemed unaffected.
Second experience was with One tagamet and 2 tums:
Tagamet was taken one hour before ingestion of oxycodone. Swim chewed up one tum 40 minutes after taking the tagamet, and the other alongside the oxycodone.
Within 20-25 minutes of taking the oxycodone, swim feels the effects of it.
Strength of high seems unaffected again. This time, swim is sure that he squeezed another hour out of his 10mg of oxycodone. Not bad.
Final experience included: 10 ounces of 100% Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice, one tagamet, and 2 tums.
07:00- Swim takes tagamet. Washes down with maybe 1/2 ounce of grapefruit.
07:45- Swim begins drinking 10 ounces of grapefruit juice.
07:50- Swim finishes grapfruit juice and chases with a single tums.
08:05- Swim takes his second tums and his 10mg of oxycodone. Washes down with some redbull.
08:19- Swims vision blurs slightly. After a couple minutes of staring aimlessly into space, swim is overcome with laughter. Never has he gotten the giggles from opiates.
08:25- Swim giggles on and off for 5 minutes. Now his typical euphoria sets in, except much better. Everything is relaxing to swim and he feels lightweight. Walking feels good. Swim imagines he is walking on feathers or clouds.
09:30- For nearly an hour, swim feels great. Now swim begins feeling sleepy along with his euphoria. Everything just seems so great. Swim finds his head nodding several times, only to be awoken when gravity lets his head drop.
11:00- Swim sleepiness has worn off and now is back to euphoria. Swim feels right. No pain, no stress, and lots happiness.
1:05- Swim feels himself coming down. Swim still remains mildly euphoric for another hour or so.
Overall, swim thinks the grapefruit juice did something magical.
Now he wonders what it would be like with only grapefruit juice. :S
Swim theorizes that the tums probably work to help neutralize the acidic grapefruit juice in your stomach. Tums by themselves dont seem to do much in particular for swim.
Hypothetically, personal results may vary, but this is swims results.
