[top]Introduction to MDAI

MDAI (5,6-Methylenedioxy-2-aminoindane) is a rigid analogue of amphetamine that has been demonstrated to generate entactogenic and stimulating effects, and acts as a serotonin releasing agent as well as appears to act as a dopamine and norepinephrine uptake inhibitor. The compound is characterized by little to no neurotoxicity[1].
