1. Also for my bad back and sciatica I am taking Lyrica, Gabapentin and Flexeral. And I take Advil too. Really seems to be helping with my back issues!
Just a mention that lyrica and gabapentin are very similar medications.I am not sure you should be taking both at once.
Thanks Cmenot, for the heads up. I did know that they were sister meds, but for some reason my doctor wants me on both for the moment. I appreciate your concern though ;)
Lyrica helps when I make a cut on my taper. I am sure that Gabapentin would do tHe same, but have been taking it for years now, and have built a tolerance to it.

    Thanks again and be well.

    Netfret,
I just want to say that I am a big fan of yours. I have read your stuff all over and it is really helpful to me that you are so honest and real. That helps others of us in similar situations because you show the struggle. For e, when I read that someone "jumped off a huge dose of anything and it sucked but Im done now" it makes it seem like its so easy and then I feel discouraged. Anyways I just wanted to say that.

Ive been on a tramadol taper for a month. And I wanted to tell you that the only reason I could do it was because tramadol rules changed and you could no longer buy it through "online pharmacies " And so I was left without options. I really can't imagine how hard it is to taper from something that you can just go purchase anytime you want.

Anyways thats it- just wanted to say best of luck to you and thanks for being so candid about your struggles. You are helping others while you are trying to help yourself. :)
