  1. Hey guys, so i tried to call my family and none of them answered or have responded yet :( but i also checked with 2 places to help me and one i needed medi cal which i dont have amy health insurance and they other had a huge wait list and some money was involved. I guess ill try some other places later.

I couldnt handle being horribly sick and depressed so i was able to smoke some h with my dealer cus he felt bad for me. How ironic. Im an hour since my last dose and now just sitting by the trees watching people enjoy their sober life. I really do want to be clean, and im sorry if my posts are just me failing and complaining. Just needed to vent.

Hey Hsucks. It sounds like things are really difficult for you right now. I too, am a heroin addict trying to get clean. I can't imagine being on the streets dope sick. i am dope sick now and I'm laying on my couch. I have to work tomorrow so hopefully I will make it that far. Anyways, I just want to lend a supporting hand. Maybe you could go to your nearest hospital and explain to them your situation. They have to see you, it's a hospital here in the states and especially in California which I'm currently in. I'm thinking that the hospital can set you up with some medication to help you withdraw or possibly they can monitor you for a few hours, days there. I'm not sure but I'm just thinking of options here.

I think you should physically go to your family and try and talk to them again and let them know just how bad things are for you right now and that throwing you out on the streets isn't helping your situation. Show them that you're trying to get into rehab or that you're seeking medical attention. Also, I think you should get to the nearest AA or NA meeting. I am not a fan of the programs but you may very well meet someone there that can assist you with your problems. Perhaps a person to take you places or to even let you stay a night or two. People can really be caring at those meetings. Just be honest with them and seek out help. You have nothing right now. You have to start from somewhere. Whatever you do, don't stop fighting. You have the power to change your life just like I do. It's only us that can make things happen. I am fighting the fight just like you are. You've got to keep moving towards the light.

Go back to the treatment centers everyday until you get someone to help you. Show them you're desperate and maybe that will speed things up a bit and get you into treatment. I still say, go to the ER and try to get some help there. Maybe a dose of meds, some scripts, and a shower and a bite to eat. Be honest with your doctors, tell them you're on the streets right now with no one to help you. If one hospital doesn't help you then go to another one. Like I said, they have to help you. Maybe they can offer up treatment centers too. You never know if you don't ask. Ask!

I'm here for you and I will be checking on this thread when i have free time. I am worried about you. I know what this feels like and i wouldn't wish it on anyone. Also, you may try a church. See if they can help you with a place to stay and food to eat. IT's all about resources and finding the right people to help you. Reach out to everyone. Get yourself together and go and find some help. Don't keep using. IT's costing you you're life. You too, can be sober and happy. It's all about laying the foundation. You need support but you're going to have to put yourself out there.

In the meantime, take care of yourself. Don't resort to anything illegal to support your habit. You don't want a criminal record at your age or any age for that matter. Let us know what you're doing and where you're at. Until then, best wishes to you. Just remember you're not alone. I'm going through it too just not on the streets. I can't imagine. Also, try journaling on here. It helps. I have a thread on here and it's been so helpful. DF members are very caring and supportive. We've all got one thing in common and that's our addiction. But, you need more than us. Go out and get it. You can do this.
