Yeah I don't like weed either. I hate being stoned and it makes me crave heroin. So no go here. Never will get into it. I don't know how people can smoke everyday and function. I cannot function on it. I feel like an idiot and can't think straight. Not a drug for me. Which is fine because I don't want any drugs in my life. I'm not looking for replacements. I'm looking for happiness in life without mood altering substances. Although I have been craving a beer, just one. May have one this weekend when my friend is in town. But I hate alcohol. My dad is an alcoholic and it just turns me off. I don't really like the taste of it either. Will never have to worry about having a problem with it. It's disgusting for the most part.

Yeah, the most important thing for people to know and respect is that we are all individuals. My memory is BETTER on Cymbalta and Lexapro because for me my depression causes cognition issues. My husband told me it felt like his wife had early onset dementia this past year. I am finally fucking remembering things! I also find as a prescriber that SSRIs and SNRIs work much more effectively at treating depression than they do for PTSD. The reality is PTSD has more to do with issues with the amygdala not neurotransmitter levels so this makes complete sense. My nightmare reduction probably has more to do with me finally sleeping more soundly (which IS related to serotonin) and to the reduction in my marital stress.

I also am very sensitive to too much caffeine and it does jack my anxiety if I drink too much especially late in the day. And I like coffee and tea equally!! LOL So there is that diversity part again. :)

Love all you guys and the way we meet in the middle of our differences. Could not do this without you.
